I have many good memories of playing video games as a child, starting with watching my friend beat Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time, performing my first Mortal Kombat Fatality, Killing Andross’ flying head, getting my first six star wanted level. The list goes on.

Actually nearly all the memories I’ve retained from my gaming youth are good, save one.

I loved Superman: The Animated Series, so when I saw it was being turned into a video game for Nintendo 64, I was one happy twelve year old. But shortly after trying to play the game for a few minutes, I remember thinking:

“Rings? F*cking rings?”

I’m paraphrasing of course, but that was the sentiment. Little did I know that Superman 64 would go on to be known as one of the worst games EVER made, and now, there’s one crazy person actually attempting to get through the entire thing and put it on video. This is his story so far.
