A Gallery of Mixing Old Wars and Today’s World

We here are Unreality always appreciate a great photoshop job.   It’s especially appreciated when an idea hits that no one seems to have thought of.  That or when we see something of extremely high artistic quality.

I happened to come across these pictures on some random Russian site.  Turns out that they are pictures that mix wartime photos from 1941 with 2010 Moscow.   They are pretty badass.

    Just wanted to point out those aren’t all of Moscow. There are several photos of the Reichstag in Berlin (hence the German flags). Still very cool.

    Also, I’d love to see this iconic photo: http://www.dhm.de/lemo/objekte/pict/ba007659/index.jpg given a similar treatment. I guess it would probably be hard to get a current photo from that spot though.
