Headless basketball player, head is there, it is just behind the leg/foot of the jumper, you can see the chin.

JC Penny ad looks more like an odd angle with the hair and the head tilt.

I’ve seen several of these before and I think the author just takes an odd looking picture and immediately assumes that it is ‘shopped.
