Having a kid is something you could never describe or appreciate until you do it. Seeing your kid experience and enjoy life outweighs anything you could do yourself. It it bigger than life and I wouldn’t trade all the free time/personal freedom in the world for it. But some days I do feel like that, but still wouldn’t trade.

However, I cannot fathom how having a kid would improve my life. I have the same philosophy on serious relationships with women.

In the end, the parts I enjoy are vastly overshadowed by the annoyances and loss of free time/personal freedom.

I’m pretty sure that no father ever thought of themselves as 100% fully capable of being a father when they decided to have kids. The only thing that can even get you close is actually having kids, is actually BEING a father. I say go for it. It’s awesome.
