If You Don’t Like Aziz Ansari You Have to Now

Published by at 10:00 am under Videos

If there’s one thing I worry about with Aziz Ansari it’s that he’ll become a little too commercialized.  Don’t get me wrong.  I don’t blame the guy.  He’s been a comedian for a while and paid his dues like anyone else so seeing the paychecks come in is fine.  However, you always kind of hope that these guys don’t lose their flare.

This video was taken back in 2006 when Aziz wasn’t quite as famous and I do hope he does something like this again.  The challenge was simple.  He and his roommate wanted to see who could come up with the shittiest mix tape.  Each tape would consist of ten songs.   The third roommate would judge whose was the worst.  The loser would have to walk around the city with a boombox playing all ten crappy songs.

Aziz lost and the results were quite funny.

When I saw him on Scrubs, I thought he was hilarious and was curious if he had done anything else or if anyone thought he was as funny as I thought, and bam. He’s pretty big now.

Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person who’s ever seen Human Giant.

Dear god people WATCH HUMAN GIANT! I dont see how anyone could NOT like Aziz after watching that show.

I read a story about him thinking he had gotten ripped off at an IMAX (thinking they all have the giant screen when they don’t) and threatening the theater manager with “DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TWITTER FOLLOWERS I HAVE? I’LL RUIN THIS PLACE!”

Ever since I haven’t like him.

I thought the same way at first, that he seemed like a douche for the “Do you know what Twitter is?” IMAX anger, but after going to a supposed IMAX theatre and only getting higher quality sound, I could definitely sympathize.

But then I saw some more of his comedy and I stopped caring about if he was a prick or not.

Aziz is my favorite of the new comedians. I wonder what the other songs were. i was hoping to hear some Green Day on there.

I met him last week on the set of 30 Minutes or Less. He’s a cool guy as you might expect. Looking forward to his next movie where he and Danny McBride stalk an Olympic Athlete.

I liked IMAX before Aziz. Sure his Twitter comment is douchey, but I think IMAX is douchier for misleading the public. I’m not the only one who thinks IMAX means BIG F’N SCREENS, and not just slightly updated screens with better sound.

Human Giant was awesome. Everyone should watch that.

Aziz Ansari is horrible and he brings his horribleness with him everywhere. Did anyone else see him hosting the MTV Movie Awards. He was awful. I couldn’t even crack a smile the whole time through because of him.
His stand up is also awful and I can’t see why any sane human being would enjoy it. I almost hate him more than Amy Poehler and that is saying something.
Human Giant was good but only because of the other people in it and the numerous amount of guest stars.
