The Morning Link: Who Are the New SNL Cast Members?
With news that Will “MacGruber” Forte is not returning to SNL, the other cast members we know and (sometimes) love have not announced if they’re returning yet (Andy Samburg, Seth Meyers, etc). But in the meantime, new talent has been hired, and you can see what they’ve got below.

SNL is rarely funny for me. 90s SNL is definitly the best, but now it just seems they are following the annoying character trait rules of thirds joke for every sketch. What is worse is they often repeat the lesser funny sketches (probably because they are easier to write). That’s another thing I dont understand. Why do the actors do most of the writing? I know they are comedians and are also capable of writing new material, but if they have to every week, they loose their zen of humor. There is no shame in hiring extra writers.
