“That Guy” Actor of the Week: Saul Rubinek
I’m so upset at myself for not having picked this guy sooner but at least he’s finally up here. It was the movie Family Man that got me realizing how much I really like Mr. Saul Rubinek. I first came across him in this weirdo TV movie called “Obsessed” God knows how long ago. It was this sad movie about a woman whose son was killed by a hit and run and Rubinek is the dude who ran over the kid. It’s a really messed up movie.
It was from that point on that I kept my eye out for Saul. And sure enough he kept creeping up and low and behold he kind of grew on me. Whether it’s TV or movies Saul is a very solid actor. Most notably I enjoyed him in True Romance where he played a coked out movie producer. Definitely a fun scene in that one.
And with 138 credits to his screen acting career Saul is well deserving of a spot on this site. The amazing Saul Rubinek after the jump

You need to start watching warehouse 13 on SyFy, it is pretty engaging and entertaining with him, just entered its 2nd season.

You are certainly right. He has done such an amazing job over the years. He seems to give 100% to every role he gets whether big or small and it’s always enjoyable to watch.
That’s ine of my favorite summer shows and he is definitiely my favorite character on the show. Thanks for the article, I had forgotten he was in so manny other things I’ve seen. Although to be fair I’m a big fan of the HG Wells character who was also on Dexter… But mostly because she’s smokin’ hot.
