No, I Promise THIS is the Most SHOCKING HOUSE EVER!
I’m posting this picture because A) that is an awesome face on Olivia Wilde and B) I grow tired of House’s tired marketing campaign. You can’t declare every single episode “the most (shocking, talked about, controversial, explosive, incendiary) House ever” without that losing its effectiveness. It’s the boy who cried wolf, except the wolf is always some really obscure disease with over-exaggerated symptoms that force House to do something illegal to save them.
And that’s why I don’t watch House.

completely off topic, but i’ve been reading your site for a while and tend to agree with most of your TV reviews.
just last night i discovered a new show called “persons unknown”, i havent seen you review this so i don’t know if you’ve even heard of it, but it’s pretty decent. its a summer mini-series, 13 episodes with a promise from the writers that all questions will be answered (yeah, im sure).
its not the best, but its worth checking out.
also, starting tonight on SyFy at 10 is the premier of “Haven”, a new series based on a stephen king book. looks promising.
This is why I try not to view marketing. I watch the episodes when they come out and read blogs. The main reason I started watching house was I was unemployed and it was on everyday at noon. Now I just watch it because of Hugh Laurie.
How long before this pic is modeled into a House themed “love doll”?
