The Final Countdown: The Girls of Sucker Punch, Leo DiCaprio Growing Up and Too Much 3D

Published by Paul Tassi under Final Countdown

Go here to see the rest of the Sucker Punch posters.

Usually, I try to put horizontal shaped pictures in the Final Countdown top slot, but I felt like I had to make an exception in this case. Zack Snyder has directed 300 and Watchmen, two of the best styled films in recent memory (argue if you will about their content), and his new adventure is Sucker Punch, which I don’t fully understand, but from this gallery of posters, I like it already.

Unreality’s Facebook Page looks better in slo-mo.

When Internet Memes Invade Real Life

Published by Paul Tassi under Images,Television

What happens when internet memes break out of your computer and invade your home? This happens, and I have to say I fully approve. I think the baby taking off his sunglasses makes it, although the addition of a bonus frame just for the YEAAAHHH!!! is pretty clutch too.

Lego Starcraft: Brick Rush

Published by Paul Tassi under Video Games,Videos

I believe I may have linked to this on another site the other day, but I actually watched it and just had to feature it here because it’s that well made. Lego stop motion is always cool, but it gets ever more awesome when combined with Starcraft. No, there are Starcraft Lego kits (yet) so all of this stuff was made from scratch.

The plotline is relatively simple, a Terran force builds a base, stumbles upon some Protoss and then…well you’ll see.

Fun fact: In about 30 multiplayer games I’ve played so far in SC2, I have yet to use Zerg. I really don’t know why. It seems like more multitasking than the other races, even though I know it’s not. I’ve noticed that the vast majority of other players are generally staying away from Zerg as well. What’s the deal?

Intergalactic Soulmates

I’m slightly put off by the picture of Yoda and ET getting it on (weren’t they both male also? Not that there’s anything wrong with same sex, inter-species love), but this picture is sufficiently cute as it stands. I think my favorite part is that Yoda is wearing a dress shirt and pants for no reason.

This isn’t Banksy. Just because someone does cool, well made graffiti does not automatically mean it’s Banksy.

The Urban Legend of Pokemon Black

Published by Paul Tassi under Editorials,Video Games

pokemon-black2.jpg

Come hear a tale of evil and mystery within the Pokemon world. Where Pokemon and trainers alike are slaughtered, and their ghosts haunt the player as he makes his way through the countryside.

What you’re about to read is an urban legend about a highly modded Pokemon game someone once found at a flea market. The all black cartridge would have been a pretty big clue that something was amiss, but what was inside turned out to be even more terrifying.

Read on, if you dare:

Now THAT’S The Mass Effect Cosplay I’ve Been Looking For

Published by Paul Tassi under Video Games,Videos

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATj3tIqSj5g&feature=player_embedded#!

About a week ago, I showed you some truly awful cosplay from the Mass Effect universe. Lord knows they tried, but in the end, they ended up looking like the Normandy got caught in a tailspin and landed on the planet Lame.

But now, I present to you, the way Mass Effect cosplay, SHOULD be done. In video form we have female Shepard, Tali Z’Hotness and a fully animatronic grunt who makes the audience go wild. Is this a contest? Because if is, start throwing ribbons at them immediately.

Side note: Has anyone dl’ed/played the DLC for Mass Effect 2? I’ve heard close to nothing about it, and am wondering if it’s actually worth getting.

A Stunning Gallery of Science Fiction and Fantasy Themed Sand Sculptures

Published by Madison under Images

 benderalien.jpg

August is just a couple days away, meaning that summer is almost gone.  And that’s fine with me; it’s been way too hot all summer long.  I haven’t had a chance to get out of the city too often this summer, so I’ve been cursed with tolerating the unbearable heat that the buildings and asphalt seem to absorb and then fire out at the unfortunate schmucks (like me), creating the effect of being trapped in a giant microwave.  But enough complaining.  Some people take initiative and head out to the beach where they can lie out, swim in the ocean, and, for the more eccentric types, build incredible sand sculptures.  The best I could ever do was to fill a bucket with sand and then turn it upside-down, but some people can create sand sculptures that are true works of art.  Below, check out a stunning gallery of science fiction and fantasy-themed sand sculptures.

Is This the Best Snoop Dogg Picture of All Time?

Published by Nattyb under Images

Snoop Dogg

When you see a picture like this you don’t walk, you run to get it up on your site.  I for one am a huge fan of Snoop Dogg.  I like him as a rapper, an actor, and all around person who’s more than willing to be in hilarious pictures with seals.

And the best part about the Dogg is that he’s still going strong.  If you really think about it the guy is like Madonna for rappers.  He’s constantly reinventing himself while keeping a big audience.

Not to mention I just don’t think the guy cares.  And I love it.

The Five Hottest Sandra Bullock Movie Roles

Published by Nattyb under Lists,Movies

Sandra Bullock

It’s been a very mixed up and crazy year for Sandra Bullock.   And while I don’t know her personally, it’s very hard to find any holes in her personality.  Some actresses you just think to yourself “she seems kind of bitchy in real life.”  Not Bullock.  Plus I know first hand that one of my relatives friends is a neighbor of hers in Georgia.  Apparently Bullock is awesome in real life.

Anyway, I was watching A Time To Kill the other day and it got me thinking.   Considering how many movies Bullock’s been in, I wanted to go back and see which ones I thought she was the hottest in.  I mean Bullock is sexy period, but there are specific roles that I think brought out the sex appeal more than others.

Here are the five hottest Sandra Bullock movie roles….

The Morning Link: Nintendo Has Invented it All Before

Published by Paul Tassi under Morning Link

nintendo.jpg

You would think that by kicking so much ass with the sales of the Wii and DS, that Nintendo had invented some sort of revolutionary technology or something that the world has never seen before. Rather, Nintendo had come up with all of these ideas before, and is just now getting around to making them not suck. Well, mostly anyway.

Go here to see what other tech is older than you think.
