That’s a Whole Lot of Fun in One Place

I’m not sure how else to describe this, other than to say it’s a veritable orgy of video game consoles. If there were price tags, I would say this is the best garage sale EVER, but I think it’s just someone’s extensive collection.

So naturally yes, I’m going to suggest we try to play the “name everything on the screen” game, where the diehard among you will be able to get them all. More importantly however, I’m curious as to if there are any consoles or handhelds missing, or if this person truly has them all. Unless I’m mistaken, I don’t see a Virtual Boy?

I can’t name ‘em all, but here are some of ‘em:

    PS2 (slim)

    Xbox 360

Gameboy Advanced (I count two of ‘em)
    Nintendo DS

    Game Gear
    Sega Genesis

    …and that’s all I’ve got.

I don’t see the original Game Boy either (grey, with the monochrome screen). Nor do I see the system that broke my video game virginity, the legendary Intellivision (or Colecovision).

    Where is the psp

  5. Bigdogon 25 May 2010 at 6:12 pm

Yup, don’t see a Virtual Boy. Don’t see a Wii either. No original b/w Gameboy either.

    Definitely an impressive collection.

Gill – I don’t think that’s a Wii. In the top right corner at least, I believe that’s a Sega Dreamcast.

  7. Bigdogon 25 May 2010 at 6:16 pm

Hey Gil, where do you see the Wii, cause I can’t find it. Is it the black version somewhere there?

At first glance, I thought the Dreamcast was the Wii. Great to see the Dreamcast there.

What’s that golden flip-up system towards the middle?

Not to be pedantic, but no Atari Jaguar, no TurboGrafx-16.

Bonus points for having the Atari Lynx, though.

Missing modern systems I can name:

    Original Gameboy
    SEGA 32X
    Virtual Boy

Really, the Wii and the Gameboy are the only two major omissions. I can’t think of a single reason why you’d want the others.

Ever heard of the Angry Video Game Nerd? Search for his vids (he has some detailing the outrageous amount of old stuff he has) and marvel at the level of nerdiness he has.

  16. Matton 25 May 2010 at 11:27 pm

how could he be missing the wii but have virtually every other nintendo console? upper right corner is a dreamcast…no psp either. so pretty much missing two of the top 4 best consoles you can have (ps3 and 360 obviously being the other 2)

  17. Matton 25 May 2010 at 11:29 pm

    no snes either! WTF

  18. Brendanon 25 May 2010 at 11:48 pm

There is an SNES. This guy is an Otaku, as most of his stations are of the japanese variety. The super famicon aka SNES is in the middle, the white thing with the 4 colors in the right color

    Virtual Boy,
