Improv Everywhere’s Ghostbuster Raid of the New York Public Library
It’s not very often someone contacts a group like Improv Everywhere to come and disturb the peace on purpose, but that’s what the New York Public Library did to raise awareness that uh, the library is awesome, because I think they’re lacking some funds or something like that.
And show up they did, to wrangle some ghosts while dressed up the Ghostbusters. I was worried they wouldn’t get the rights to the theme song, but they got at least some version of it which does pop up in the video later.
It’s not that epic, as I would have preferred about 50 ghosts instead of three, but it’s still funny and you know it made everyone’s day who saw it.

Yeah they definitely needed more ghosts for that to be interesting…and maybe a gun thing that shot out nerf bullets or something. It didn’t make sense that they were running around with their laser pack things AFTER the them.
boring… i expect better. but thanks.
