Our DeviantArtist of the week is SeanGordonMurphy, who was smart enough to use his own name on the site so when people like me write posts about him, he gets his name out there.

His project is called “The Wolverine ABCs” and it’s exactly what it sounds like. Wolverine, with the help of other Marvel friends poses in 26 different ways which spell out the alphabet. Some are kind of pushing it (Namor? Really?), but some would be pretty epic drawings on their own (Ghost Rider, Punisher).

In that first picture, is Wolverine using a samurai sword? Isn’t that kind of redundant? It’s like a shark with an exacto-knife taped to his fin.

Wolverine, a canadian who’s never said “eh.”

That alone is a super power.

Wolverine does/has used a sword. It’s called the Muramasa Blade. It was forged specifically for him using a piece of his soul and it can kill/cut anything. Healing powers can’t overcome it. He used it to decapitate Sabertooth for good and Wolverine himself currently has a scar on his chest that will never heal after it cut him.

Things like this are sweet, real happy for the artist for being so clever.

    THat is freaking awe-some !

There’s no better way to teach a child to read or learn the alphabet then to mix it with comics and stuff they love.

Too bad most schools can still not think like that.
