The Final Countdown: The Lost Whiteboard, V’s Got Smarts and Unscripted Movie Moments

Published by Paul Tassi under Final Countdown

lost-board.jpg

Go here to see the Lost whiteboard’s secrets.

See this picture? It ran inside an issue of Wired that was talking about the creators of Lost Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof. What’s the natural response to such a picture for Lost fans? Analyze EVERYTHING you see on that whiteboard behind them, and it does contain spoilers from the few remaining episodes if you care to see them. Or maybe they’re just hypotheticals that never came to pass. Jack goes to the DENTIST’S!

More Lost secrets hidden on Unreality’s Facebook page.

Obama Now Can Do Battle With the X-Men and G.I. Joe

Published by Paul Tassi under Images,Oddly Enough

obama-action-figure.jpg

But sadly, he must do it without clothes on, for whatever reason.

Actually, technically this isn’t supposed to be Obama, despite you know, them having the EXACT SAME FACE and all. It’s just an “African-American” action figure, surely to diversify your “Caucasian only” action figure collection. Or to serve as one of those bendable drawing models, because that’s really what it looks like.

I think I’m most confused about why he comes with two pairs of hands. It’s not like they’re selling separate accessories he can hold. Why not give him, you know, underpants? That would go a long way as no one is going to listen to a castrated president.

Buy him here.

“Friendly Predator Missile Inbound!”

Published by Paul Tassi under Images,Video Games

friendly-predator-missile.jpg

I swear to God I have a freaking magnet implanted in my head in Call of Duty that makes me the lone victim of a countless number of predator missile strikes, on such a consistent basis it CANNOT be coincidence.  It’s gotten to the point where if I see the red circle appear on the screen, I don’t even run, I just know I’m going to die wherever I go. If I’m in a building, I can trust that the pilot will find a way to steer the missile through a window and up my ass.

That’s why every time I hear “friendly predator missile inbound,” I stop and scoff, “there’s no such thing.” At least not for me. Though I will say, I do appreciate this illustration. I feel like this must by what Japanese military technology looks like in the era of Hello Kitty.

Possibly the Most Ridiculous Starcraft Match I’ve Ever Seen

Published by Paul Tassi under Video Games,Videos

Alright, so I know there’s a select group of you out there who appreciate the occasional Starcraft match I post here, so here’s a doozy for you. A four player free for all that is without a doubt one of the most insane matches I’ve ever seen.

Why yes, it is an hour long, and I did watch the entire thing. It starts getting good about halfway through, so if you have some time on your hands and you’re a big SCII fan, this will make your day. How else will you pass the time with no beta key.

The video is in six parts, the rest of which you can see below:

What Heaven is Like: The Slave Leia Car Wash

Published by Paul Tassi under Images,Movies,Videos

I’m not sure what charity this was raising money for, but I’m sure their coffers are overflowing after possibly the single greatest fundraiser of ALL TIME.

Sure, this was supposed to be a “Star Wars car wash,” but really, who wants their car to be washed by Chewbacca (though he does have the fur coat to get the job done quickly by rolling around on the hood of your car). Naturally, team Slave Leia stole the show, and thus fulfilled a bunch of males’ lifelong fantasies.

Now, I’ve posted some of the greatest pictures I’ve ever seen after the jump here, along with a video from the event. If this doesn’t brighten your day, I’m honestly not sure what will.

“George” – Seinfeld Recut Into a Drama

Published by Paul Tassi under Television,Videos

Oh man, I’ve seen some great recut movie and TV shows in my day, but this just might be my new favorite. Some clever bastard has gone through a few episodes of Seinfeld, cut out some good bits and pasted them all together with sad, but inspiring music in the background.

The result? “George,” which tells the story of how a man tragically loses his fiancee (to poison stamps) and as a result he turns his life around by mentoring a child and doing the exact opposite of everything he did previously. I’m sure it would get nominated for an Oscar if it was released today.

5 Ways to Pick Up Girls That Only Work in the Movies

Published by Madison under Lists,Movies

serendipity.jpg

There are a million things that happen in movies that are totally unrealistic, but I think the one that bothers me the most is how easy it is for guys – especially dorky guys – to pick up girls.  Most guys have picked up a girl at a bar, or the grocery store, or even just walking down the street.  I met my current girlfriend through a mutual friend.  Nowadays, people can meet through online dating systems, too.

But in movies, these mundane circumstances just don’t make the cut.  Instead, guys can get girls in movies by doing things that, if done in real life, would likely repulse the girl.  Keep reading to see what I mean and check out five ways guys pick up girls that can happen only in the movies.

10 Disturbingly Realistic Zombie Costumes

Published by Nattyb under Images

Zombie

I’m one of these people who can watch a really violent movie and yet still eat my dinner without hesitating.  Blood and guts doesn’t really gross me out so I can usually handle gory scenes and such.

However, there are just some things I can’t hold down my food for.  And they’re usually classified as “disturbing” things.   Not so much blood and guts but more “unnatural” if you will.

I’m not sure if zombies qualify but maybe the combo of gore and the fact that this look just ain’t right really freaked me out.

Check out these ten realistic zombie costumes.

15 Amusing Alternative Superman Looks

Published by Nattyb under Images

Funny Superman

I personally didn’t think Superman Returns was as bad as everyone has made it out to be.  If anything I felt it was entertaining but I can definitely understand where people thought it went wrong.  However, I won’t deny that Christopher Nolan making a revamped version of Superman wouldn’t be absolutely awesome.

If he does decide to make “Man of Steel” something tells me it will be just as hyped and probably live up to that hype as much as The Dark Knight did.  While it would be a tough feat if there’s one director who could pull it off, it’s Nolan.

But in the meantime while we wait on more rumors and hopeful truths I’ve found some lovely Superman pictures that I think we all can agree fall under the category of “alternative.”

The Morning Link: The Worst Comic Book Sidekicks Ever

Published by Paul Tassi under Morning Link

boy-buddies.jpg

There’s an ongoing fan outcry to keep Robin out of any new Batman movies. Why? Because superhero sidekicks are LAME and everyone knows it. But there are many that are far worse than young Robin, so awful in fact, it’s almost painful to read an entire list full of them. But you should, because it’s hilarious.

Go here to see the worst sidekicks ever.
