15 Celebrities and Their Accurate Wax Figures

Celebrity Wax Figures

Has anyone here ever been to Madame Tussauds?   I have yet to make the trip but rather than waste my time trying to meet celebrities or figure out where they’re going to be, I figure a trip to that wax museum is nearly as good.

I mean I’ve seen some crappy ass wax figures in my day but the ones at Tussauds always seem to be up to par.  And of the 100s if not 1000s of celebrity wax figures they have there, I’ve chosen 15 that appear to be very accurate.

Here are 15 celebrities and their accurate wax figures

Oh man, I can remember when Madame Tussaud’s came here to Melbourne (well, part of it anyway). I was probably about seven at the time and had no idea who most of the people were, but looking at the photos years later I realised I was a cool kid.
I ran next to Harrisson Ford/Indy, hugged Macaulay Culkin/Kevin, tweaked Picasso’s nose, admired Mozart and gave finger-ears to The Beatles. Something involving Shakespeare and Gerard Depardieu too. That’s all I can remember/have photographic evidence of.
I’d love to go there now, actually knowing who these people are.

I went to the Madame Tussaud’s in London when I was a kid, and for some reason the only wax figure that still really stands out to me is…Paul Hogan. Yeah, Paul Hogan.

    Also, I want my own.

Yeah I went there when I was a kid as well, and I TOTALLY remember Paul Hogan. But yeah, I didn’t appreciate that place nearly enough. Did you go in the horror torture section? That scarred me forever.

Also, these are all freaking awesome. Even I like reading our site sometimes! hah

I DID go into the horror torture section – man, I forgot all about that! Still, all I can remember is Paul Hogan. I wonder if he’s still on display or rotting in a warehouse somewhere.

I went to the one in the Venetian in Vegas a couple of years ago (well, a couple being 10) and it was really cool.

My favourite part was in the middle of the museum where they have a section that showed videos of how the figures are made. Unbelievable, they goes as far as matching the veins in their eyes.

Also, they had a section with Mohammad Ali squared off against Evander Holyfield in a boxing ring. Posters all over the walls and everything. Man, did I wish that was a real fight. Can you imagine watching those two boxers in their prime?

I’m sorry but all this makes me think of is when Conan went to that hack of a wax museum somewhere in California last year and it was beyond creepy. Ah the good ole days when he hosted the tonight show. I can’t even remember that far back.

Some of these are amazing. Considering how creepy a bad wax figure can be, it’s even more impressive. I can’t imagine the time and skill it takes to make these.

  8. [...] earlier today, Natty posted a rather excellent gallery of celebrities and their wax figures. I was pretty surprised to not see the Twilight kids there yet, so I’m posting this picture [...]

Bad Nattyb! Great post, but oh man did it creep me out. I actually wasn’t sure which was the real and which was the fake. I’m honestly freaked out by this.

Adolf Judas Obama’s was sculpture is actually one of those plastic fake dog turds. It is the most realistic representation EVER!!

    Justin’s is scary.

Exile, you are an idiot. When Obama betrays Jesus and kills millions of people then he’ll deserve the moniker your people like to bestow. Smh

Ok which Al Roker is the wax one?

Omg. WOW. Those are really good. A lot of them I couldn’t tell which one was real and which one was the wax.
