What’s the Matter with Spiderman?

OK I know this is a blow up doll and all that but how often do you see a somewhat vintage looking black and white photo of a woman carrying Spiderman?
Why does it look like his feet are cut off? And why is his hand so damned big? And why does she have him in a headlock? Ugh. So many questions. So little answers.
