Why You Should Never Trust Sexy Profile Pictures
So it’s not very often we feature ads on the site unless we’re being paid to do it, but that’s not the case this time. This Samsung spot is just plain awesome, and deserves a place here on its creative merits alone.
This is more an MySpace era issue (and era that is way, way over) but many high school kids still try to pull this crap today on Facebook. You know what I’m talking about, the super angled, super cropped pictures that can turn a guy or girl (but let’s be honest, mostly girls) from a sea creature to a model.
The ad uses literal monsters to show exactly how this technique can be used to your advantage, and eve I was surprised by how well the end results turned out. Take a look.
