A Map of the Internet

So a while back, XKCD did a rather elaborate map of the internet that was pretty cool, but recently Paul Kwiatkowski did an updated, simpler version that I actually like a lot better. 4Chan is an island, Digg and Reddit are warring, and Wikipedia is neutral Switzerland, filled with skiing.
Where is Unreality on this map you might wonder? I think we’re a part of the “Confederacy of Blogs” (Captain, first grade) located in the corner between Gawker and Kotaku. That seems like a decently adequate blend of what we do here, if you throw in a little JoBlo and TV Squad. I met the founder of Gawker once. He’s English.
Sure, the new map is missing big sites like Google, but I like to think that Google is the crust of the earth that everything else sits on. Yahoo is Antarctica.

Do is see a Desert of Virginity?
I think that’s a Desert of Unoriginality leading to all the Facebook games like Farmville.
The rendition of Facebook being so huge compared to Myspace is another improvement over XKCD’s. Oh, and kudos for the mini version of the Warcraft continents.
So.. where’s Hulu?
Someone had to ask - where are the oceans of porn?
