Think Illegal Downloading is Free?
Once you blow up that picture, you’ll see that the real posters are listing all these exorbitant amounts of college kids that got sued by the RIAA…IN YOUR DORM! AHHHH!
The way it really works is this:
A) Download songs on your college-governed network.
B) They can see that shit, and so they turn you over to the RIAA.
C) The RIAA sends you a blackmail note saying you owe them $2M theoretical dollars for that Josh Groban album. You can either settle for a few grand, or go to court and have your life destroyed.
D) You settle for $5,000 for songs that are in no way worth a fraction of that, and almost have to drop out of school because of the massive sum you just forked over.
Why does this sound so oddly specific? Because it’s the EXACT thing that happened to my ex-girlfriend back at U of M. The moral of the story? Don’t download shit on your college’s internet, but once you move out, it’s all fair game. Also, stop using Limewire period.

Anyone else notice they spelled “Downloading” wrong on the Pirate Bay poster? Either way I think BitTorrenting on a campus/work server is brainless. Just go buy your own internet or don’t do it….trust me, you can live without another damn Lady Gaga song or album…
