I realized the other day that it’s been a while since I’ve seen Austin Powers:  International Man of Mystery.   And I also realized that it’s one of those movies that has staying power.  Some movies are only funny for their generation but not Austin Powers.  I wasn’t a huge fan of the two sequels but the first one was very original and “fresh” to see.

Part of the allure of that movie wasn’t just Austin himself.  It was (and I always argue this as being critical to any movie or TV show) the supporting cast that made this movie funny as all hell.  And while Random Task (played by Joe Son) wasn’t really all that funny,  I like how big and funny he looked.

Also, his face when Austin applies the penis pump to his crotch is quite entertaining.  I think another reason I like this guy is the fact that the man who played him, Joe Son, used to be a UFC fighter.  He was also arrested for Gang Rape in real life, but that’s besides the point.
