Stormtroopers: They’re Just Like Us!
I’m not quite sure which trashy tabloid magazine it is – maybe Us Weekly or Star – that has the feature, “Celebrities: They’re Just Like Us!” but it’s idiotic. Julia Roberts carries her own luggage! Katie Holmes eats with her pinkies out! Johnny Depp uses a fork and knife! I can’t really understand why people would want to read about the details in celebrity lives to begin with, but I’m especially perplexed by the desire to see photos of celebrities doing everyday, mundane activities.
Switch celebrities with stormtroopers, though, and then I’m interested. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about seeing a stormtrooper taking a break from serving the Emperor and going about his day-to-day activities.
