If there is one show that I was praying would last past the first season it was The Life and Times of Tim.  I hope that some of you have seen it.  If you haven’t then I highly urge you to look up some clips on Youtube, but more to the point buy the first season on DVD and catch up in one weekend.  There were only 10 episodes and I guarantee you each one will have you laughing hysterically.

Almost everyone I know has never heard of this show and it’s a true shame.  Thankfully enough people watched it for the 2nd season to come out this week.  Anyway, for those who need a refresher.  The show is a cartoon centered around a guy named Tim.  He’s this funny, calm guy who has a normal 9-5 office job in a cubicle.  He’s kind of  a young, slightly hip NYC type guy with a girlfriend and a funny/weird boss.

But he is absolutely hilarious because he finds himself in ridiculous situations and winds up being the biggest pushover while still cognizant of all of his actions.  In one episode he actually covers for a guy who takes a dump in an elevator.  And the whole time you hear him complaining but he does it anyway.

It’s very hard to put on screen or paper the essence of this show.  But you take the amazing voice of Steve Dildarian plus the side characters (his buddy Stu, the Priest, the hooker, his boss) and you have yourself an incredible series.
