Badass Picture of the Week: Bill Nye the Mythbusting Guy
Oh man, even I’m not too young to remember Bill Nye the Science Guy. I saw him do a live show in Miami when I was a kid, and he was probably the only person on the planet attempting to make science fun at the time, and we all appreciated him for it.
This picture, via Mythbuster Grant Imahara’s Twitter (hence the cell phone quality) is pretty damn awesome, as it represents two generations of excellent science TV shows. And damn, look at Kari in that dress!
Sure, there are way more explosions on Mythbusters than on Bill Nye, but the principal is the same, and had I not been 100% illiterate at science, these shows might have inspired me to be something other than an entertainment blogger. Phew, dodged a bullet there.
