Ive dug the new season so far. I liked the way Jack took out some of the baddies in the stairwell the other night. Made me chuckle.

I never really watched this show tho i know a few people who do. After watching premium cable shows like Deadwood, CYE, and Dexter I kinda got spoiled. Anyways, I like the part half way through when the villain is described as pointing a gun at people only to knock them out with it. This reminds me of countless movies where the protagonist is fighting some sort of super powered bad ass that can bench press a cruise ship and when the aforementioned villain gets their hands on the hero; what do they do? They throw them across the room. Yes, it seems like any villain in a movie capable of tossing a full grown man around like a wiffle ball will do just that instead of crushing their head like a grape. See the last 15 minutes of Terminator: Salvation for a prime and all too common example. I was even watching the animated Hellboy movie today and the same thing happened during the big climactic fight scene. Sorry for the rant but I find this just so annoying…

If you bailed on Day 7 you really missed out. The White House siege was probably some of the best (and most compelling) 24 since the first 10 minutes of Day 5.

Yea I watched up through the fifth season which I thought was still very good. I could not make it past the first few episodes of season six. It relies on too many of the same things happening over and over again. How many times now has some type of coup of the president been attempted? It’s just boring now, though that is bound to happen with most shows, just like the Office has stopped being funny 24 was bound to get dull.

Idea. Just do a crossover with 24 and V. I mean hell why not? V struggled with anything after the pilot and, as you’ve said, 24 has become old hat. I’m sure Jack Bauer could spruce up a quickly dying V.

Question. Anyone know if V is coming back?
