Obscure Movie Character of the Week: Ted “Old Man” Clemens in Billy Madison
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Billy Madison but man oh man if I didn’t laugh my ass off every time I saw Old Man Clemens (played by Jack Mather). In fact I think I might even like the part where he says “call the fire department” more than when he says “it’s poop again.”
Actually you know what? Just the fact that he’s wearing underwear and boots works enough for me.
And for a movie that’s based on completely random stuff there’s nothing random about just having a funny old guy. Kind of like the old “doobie” dude in Road Trip.
So this is a tribute to Jack Mathers (unfortunately Jack passed away in 2006).
