Megan Fox Wants You To Drink Vinegar

Megan

First of all if you’re taking advice from celebrities on anything having to do with your health you’re kind of a moron. If you’re taking advice from Megan Fox then you’re most likely mentally challenged….

Health experts have warned dieters against taking advice from actress Megan Fox. The Transformers star has been blasted for hailing the benefits of swigging vinegar. She recently said, “It just cleanses out your system entirely. “It will get rid of … for women who retain water weight from your menstrual cycle and all that … it gets rid of it really fast.

Fox went on to say that’s she’s not really big on exercising and that she has a sweet tooth so she decides to do “cleanses” to make up for all the sugar she takes in.  Honestly folks it’s getting harder and harder for me to write this.

I can’t tell if I’m going to burst into tears out of laughter or frustration.  Just let all this sink in.  Again, Megan Fox suggest that you swill vinegar to cleanse your system.

I guess because she’s hot she can say this?  It’s my only rational conclusion.  But I will admit, having this knowledge of her makes her way less attractive in my book.

This is also why you shouldn’t trust reporters either, they hear something they can’t understand and immediately run out to tell everyone “oh my god Megan Fox is crazy!”

Whoever wrote this could benefit from doing a little bit of their own research.

A study from the Journal of Nutrition
    http://jn.nutrition.org/cgi/content/full/131/7/1973

“Our results show that dietary acetic acid can enhance glycogen repletion in both liver and skeletal muscle. The mechanism of this effect is different in liver and skeletal muscle. In liver, acetic acid feeding enhances glycogen repletion by activation of gluconeogenesis and the preferential utilization of G-6-P for glycogenesis. In skeletal muscle, the enhancement of glycogen repletion by acetic acid feeding results from the accumulation of G-6-P due to suppression of glycolysis. We used acetic acid at concentrations comparable to those found in a normal diet. Therefore, we conclude that supplementing meals with vinegar may be beneficial in the recovery of liver and skeletal muscle glycogen, for example, upon fatigue, after skipping meals, postexercise or as part of an athlete’s breakfast on the day of competition.”

Both acetic and citric acid promote the release of cAMP which translates to increased mobilization of adipose tissue (i.e. more efficient burning of fat).

In addition, John Berardi Phd in exercise biology and nutritional biochemistry recommends supplementation of vinegar to help achieve the above mentioned results (muscular recovery, aid in fat burning.)

I believe Clint Eastwood drinks apple cider vinegar.

Dissing the bimbo is one thing. Dissing the Clint…do ya feel lucky? Well, do ya?

i’ve heard of this way before megan fox said it… not sure if it works, but it doesn’t sound crazy to me. it also doesn’t make her sound any more dumb than any other person who talks about what they do to lose weight.

Know your stuffs before you label others as moron. Drinking vinegar has been a health tradition in Asia and been proved of its health benefits. Great detox aside, it’s great preventing cancer.
