Mac From Always Sunny Opening a Real Bar in Philly
I’ve never really had any good reason to go to Philadelphia, as I’m not Nicolas Cage who needs to look up secret messages etched on the Liberty Bell, but with this latest bit of news, I think I just might have to make the trip out.Rob McElhenney, or Mac from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, has bought a local bar in Old City with his wife, Kaitlin Olson (Sweet Dee) and it’s called Mac’s Olde Towne Tavern. I would have just gone with Paddy’s Pub, but whatever, still awesome. The show is a big hit nationwide, but especially so in Philly, and surely this place will be packed from morning until night because of that fact. Will Dennis and Sweet Dee actually be bartending? And I would love to go in the bathroom and see Charlie cleaning toilets. They at least better host an annual Flipadelphia flip cup tourney.[via The Illadelph]

This is actually pretty awesome
I agree that he should have just used the name Paddy’s Pub mostly because Mac’s Olde Towne Tavern doesn’t have that much of a ring to it….I’ll have my fingers crossed as well for a Flipadelphia annual competition!
