I remember first seeing these guys when I went to college down in New Orleans.  The first time I laid eyes on one I was certain it was a real statue.  I mean there are lots of professions in this world but standing still for eight hours on the street is not one I’d like to have.

Not to mention the off chance that some little kid will go right up to you and kick you in the nuts.  But to each their own.
