Wait, You Can “Beat” World of Warcraft?

No, it wasn’t this guy, but I bet he’s PISSED.
I didn’t know it was actually possible to “beat” World of Warcraft, as I thought the purpose of it was to suck your soul through your eyes with its never ending, never quite fulfilling gameplay, but I guess I was wrong.
“A Taiwanese man has been named the first ever person to successfully “complete” World of Warcraft, collecting the game’s staggering 986 Achievements to effectively do everything there is to do in the hugely successful MMO.
Little Gray” beat the game after killing 390,895 creatures, administering 7,255,538,878 points of damage, completing 5,906 quests (averaging 14 quests a day), raiding 405 dungeons and hugging 11 players.”
Hugging 11 players? I don’t want to know. In any case, I am surprised that five years into the game’s creation and this guy is the FIRST person to do this. I mean people play this shit for 18 hours a day, how does it take FIVE YEARS of that to finally complete everything? That’s borderline criminal gameplay design.

I feel like I’ve beaten WoW by having never played it in the first place.
It didn’t take five years, achievements were added somewhat recently to the game
Recently being last year before Wrath came out.
And as far as “beating” the game, it’s more like done everything single possible thing that the game will record you have done that is possible to do in the game.
So yea, it “only took” him a year to do it.
@SethP, No, you lost actually.
Yep, achievements were added with the latest xpac (Nov 08) and they are continually being added. He has only completed all those that are available. Next content patch is next week and there will be more to do :). Can’t way.
@Lance
Sorry, you lose. This game has sucked the soul out this guy if he played for that long.
My friend does not go out on weekends so he can play WoW (he’s 24 years old)…I constantly make fun of him.
I’m just surprised he “beat” the game with a Taur-Drood. Have you ever played one of those things? Es imposible!

This guy is in taiwan right now getting his dicked sucked.
Over in the east, example?: Taiwan, gamers get treated like kings.
The day this got announced this kid probably got so many bitches into bed, he made up for all the time he spent beating his meat.
I dont play WoW but if i started playing I’d move to asia.

He didn’t beat shit. Even if he did complete all 986 achievements, I’m sure he hasn’t collected all Feats of Strength (which, may I remind you, is impossible to do with only one avatar).
I give him props, but there is still more to be done within the World of Warcraft.

He may have won the game, but he will always be a loser
How can someone spend that much time playing such a boring game? I don’t get how people got sucked into it, a friend gave me their accont for the remaining month they had it, i got to level 10, and stopped playing after 2 days, so fucking boring.
