Rob Schneider Fights Radio Hosts
As it turns out, Rob Schneider is not dead as you may have suspected, he’s actually getting into fights with local radio hosts on air these days, and it makes for some pretty excellent video.
Apparently Rob was kept waiting for fifteen minutes in the 955 parking lot, and when he came inside was quite pissed off about it, then once he got on the show he wouldn’t let the issue go, until finally the hosts start yelling at him for being an asshat, and then everyone storms off set. Good times!
I think there’s a general sense of all around douchebaggery on everyone’s part here, but I think a lot of the blame does lie with Schneider, yes?

I think Rob was setting them up with material and they just didn’t “get” it. Let him riff on having to wait on the parking lot (it was their fault he waited, duh) - it wouldn’t have hurt to be a little self-effacing. He was trying to provide them some material to go on - which he hinted at when he said they needed material. Much like Letterman does with his “cold” studio, Conan used to do with his lack of budget props, etc.
All in all, I think it was poor communication between all parties.
But a radio team that admittedly didn’t get along with Rob Schneider, Norm McDonald, Kevin Nealon AND Gallagher? They’re not exactly batting 1000 themselves.
Schnieder clearly doesn’t take himself too seriously, and it’s pretty unprofessional to keep your guest waiting. I’m with Rob on this one.
i agree completely with the 1st response. Rob was trying to be funny. that radio show is fucking pathetic, and they are apparently pissing off a number of guests. fuck them. they are just pissed cus they make less in one year than what rob makes doing a 30 min appearance.

I guess I’m odd man out here b/c I think he’s a complete dick. I met this douchebag before in Hermosa beach about 5 years ago and can tell you from 1st hand experience, that this was no act or Rob trying to be funny. The guy is truly a dick in person and pretty surprised he even has a career…oh wait he does b/c of Adam Sandler…
