8-Bit ‘Left 4 Dead’ Tides Me Over Until the Real Thing

Published by Paul Tassi at 1:00 pm under Video Games, Videos

Well today is the offical launch date for Left 4 Dead 2. Unfortunately for me, my Xbox is currently somewhere in Texas getting its guts pulled out, so I won’t have the pleasure for at least a few more weeks.

Until then however, Valve made this, an 8-bit version of Left 4 Dead that you may have found on the NES back in the day. It’s more than just a fun video project however, it’s an actual game that Valve is promising to release in January for free download on PC. Good times all around. Outside of Portal, I may not be a huge Valve guy, but I love their sense of humor.

man, valve is probably my favorite game producer just for this reason. they make great games in my opinion and they also have a great sense of humor. ill never forget the first time back in the day when i beat HL1. it was the first time a video game really made me go “wtf?”

ive been in love with their stuff ever since
