Awesome game, one of my all-time Sega favourites. I broke the backboard a bunch of times – for me, the mythical unicorn of NBA Jam was getting the announcer to shout “Is it the shoes?!”

aww, theres a trick to the breaking of the back board but i cant think what it is….i think its only in the 4thqt and you have to be on fire and something else…dammit.
love that game tho, i recently dug it out ealier this year. it holds up pretty well.
