‘The Office’ Turns Japanese

Published by Paul Tassi at 2:00 pm under Television, Videos

I’m told this is fairly old, and I’m not sure if it’s when Steve Carell or Ricky Gervais was hosting, but “The Japanese Office” may be one of my favorite SNL digital shorts to date, and I’ve no idea how I’ve gone all this time without seeing it.I’m very impressed with Bill Hader’s Japanese Dwight by the way. I’d like to see them do this with other countries as well, although I know that there are versions of The Office in about four other countries besides the U.S. (for real).

Ironically enough, Hulu can’t be seen outside the States, so I apologize to my international compatriots on behalf of my dumbass country’s distribution laws.

Here is a link that works for those in Canada. I’m not sure about other countries though.

Hader’s good in everything. He reminds me a lot of Jim Carrey on In Living Color, what with his physical exagerrations.
