While it may have started as a shopping website where people and businesses can buy and sell a broad variety of goods and services worldwide, Ebay has quickly become the world’s scariest online yard sale.

These days, an innocent cosumer can wander onto Ebay looking for a vintage Scott Baio thermos or Weird Al Yankovic’s original accordian and end up buying a used hot dog from a Seattle Seahawks game for $7,000 or a piece of an asteroid that supposedly landed in someone’s backyard for $5,000.
