Too Much Awesome: Captain Mal Reynolds Returns to TV

Published by Paul Tassi at 12:00 pm under Television, Videos

Alright, so it’s just an inside joke in an episode of Castle, Nathan Fillion’s new show, but it almost literally made me tear up to see the old outfit again. WHY FOX, WHY?

Anyway, it’s a rather funny scene where Fillion’s character is wearing the getup for Halloween, and his daughter doesn’t quite grasp what a “Space Cowboy” is, and says,”it’s time to let it go” after it’s been revealed he’s been wearing it for five years.

Bra-vo Castle writers, bra-vo.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed that, none of my friends had any idea why I was seriously having a nerdgasm of epic proportions.

My hat’s off to the writers.

I can’t believe I didn’t make the connection. I fail, because this is awesome.

Too bad this show is awful! Seen five or six episodes and…the roll’s just not good enough for the guy. I’m inexplicably sad now…

This was great to see, I love Castle, and I’m a huge Firefly fan.

One of the coolest things I’ve seen on TV recently.
