A Few Rather Morbid Examples of When PC Games Meet Death

Published by at 10:00 am under Video Games,Videos

You’re really just going to have to watch to understand what I mean…

1. Theme Park Massacre – Roller Coaster Tycoon 3

Which Final Destination was this in? The third one? Anyways, who DIDN’T do this in Roller Coaster Tycoon at least once? Or all the time.

2. The Oven – The Sims 3

There are a million crazy Sims deaths, so many that they got their own post, but this one is the most gruesome to me.

3. Nuclear Holocaust – Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3

So many soldiers, willing to die for country. Too bad they were nuked by their own uncaring overlords.

4. Self Destruction – Starcraft 2

A developer-made video just to show how much effort went into creature exploding effects in Starcraft 2.

5. Chernobyl Reborn – Sim City 4

This purposefully created meltdown in Sim City was trying to recreate the destruction Chernobyl reaped in a real life. Great success!

6. The Front Line – Age of Empires

Not as violent as the others, but the streams of soldiers willing to die in the front lines is rather tragic.

7. The Madness of War – Rome: Total War

And speaking of tragic, this video of just dead bodies from Rome: Total War is pretty introspective for a game that ran on Windows 95.

8. Mind Your Head – Deus Ex

I had to end on a humorous note after that last depressing one.

No good videos! How did no one ever record and post a bison stampede massacre?

Oh man, some of these are really pretty morbid. The Roller Coaster one was my favorite.
