By Far…The Most Chick Flick-ish Movie Poster EVER MADE

Dear Lord, it’s a Nicholas Sparks novel, it’s called Dear John, it’s starring Channing Tatum, and he’s wrapping his big strong arms around a girl at the beach. COME ON! There is quite literally nothing you could do to make this movie girlier. Remind me to not have a girlfriend this February.

Look, I’m all for a good Nicholas Sparks adaptation, but The Notebook was bearable because Ryan Gosling is a GOOD ACTOR. Channing Tatum is quickly becoming my least favorite actor in Hollywood, because he’s bad, but not obviously bad like Hayden Christensen, he’s bad enough where his good looks don’t outweigh his badness so he keeps getting major movie roles.

Amanda Seyfried sure has come a long way from “girl whose boobs tell her when its raining” huh?

Tatum is bad enough in action movies, but at least then he’s watchable because he’s athletic, rugged, etc. But in a romantic comedy? Ugh…
