Darker may not sell as much but it lends itself more to the X-Men series. In reality, it's a pretty violent world. Once can only dream. Although I also thought Valkyrie was pretty good, Cruise aside. Superman Returns, not so much. You could possibly bring back Famke as Phoenix, claiming the spirit saved her, but they did that in X-2 and forever ruined the hopes of an accurate potrayal of the Phoenix saga. And the way they were talkin about the Magneto film sounded quite rocky. So idk? With Xavier alive after X-3, X-4 wouldn’t be bad.
