I cannot believe that you Americans are defending this culture of greed! Moore was corredt in this film when he said that Americans suffer the injustice in the slim chance of them becoming part of this ‘elite’. Incredible.

I love this site but am deeply concerned by the comment “universal health care which he showed worked great in other countries”. As a health economist who lives in a country with a universal health care system please believe me that Michael Moore’s depiction of universal health care systems was disgustingly deceptive and biased. I don’t wish to rant so I’ll stop here, cos I know I could go on for a long time pointing out all the flaws in Michael Moore’s movies. Just please take all his ‘facts’ with a VERY large pnch of salt. Thank you

Regardless of how you look at it, capitalism has such a broad oversight that it Moore could have made a second film on the results alone. With that said alloy has it right and as an economic system, capitalism doesn’t have a “cure” in itself. At best there is revisions to the system or “treatment’s” if you will.

Oh and btw for those slamming Moore this came from Rotten tomato’s:

Those [attacking Moore] are doing worse than namecalling. By refusing to engage the substance of the film, they’re conceding that he may be right.

“The pilot salary problem is a very specific example of unfairness in America’s economy today, but Moore offers no solutions, and no hope.”

The solution is that the rich make less profit, and that wealth be spread around to the everyman. He explained it quite thoroughly when noting that the ultra rich paid 90% in taxes in the 1950s, before Reagan fucked it all up and “let loose the bull”, or Merryl Lynch (sp).

He did offer solutions, it’s just that the whole situation is less black and white than healthcare reform or even columbine.

Moore is an hypocrite, he has made millions from capitalism, by condemning capitalism.
