Not true about Clair being the most annoying character, since that spot has clearly been taken by the old-geezer-gobbler from “Californication”. I mean, the looks exchanged with Noah at the restaurant, wtf?

I guess the writers, still lazy from season 3, just said “fuck it” and saved all the good stuff for the Matt\Sylar story.
How shitty do you have to be when you got Ray “Darth fucking Maul” Park and Knepper, and the viewers still get bored?

Also, Synesthesia should not be a “power” on this show after they had a guy who can create portals to other dimensions (or wherever that was).

* I hate Gretchen… Also, I have a feeling there is something sinister about here. Does anyone else get that?
* Matt / Sylar interactions are the gold of this season so far. Love their scenes.
* Pretty lights that only the deaf girl can see power is redonkulous…..

This was the episode that made give up hope for this show, every single actor (except Quinto) sucked ass, it was the straw that broke the camels back. I’m done.

PS why does Samuel have a really bad Irish accent?

I’m guessing her power will develop and manifest as something greater…maybe she’ll be like a deaf Jubilee?

I don’t mind Gretchen, but that’s only because I liked the actress on Californication. Otherwise, yeah, strangle away.

I *think* the Haitian’s name is Jean, but regardless…Noah’s been working with him for like, what, 20 years? Can’t he call him by name??

It seems like a lot of people liked the cello scene…I just thought it went on a bit too long, that’s all.

I really am digging the Matt/Sylar dynamic. Best part of this season so far.

I’m glad T Bag shaved his soul patch this week. Gotta love the little things.

Now, I found the scene with the cello playing kinda awesome. It was beautiful, even though it was a little long. But it’s nice getting something pretty in a show that is a little depressing.

I wish we got to see Nathan this episode. I think I’m going to like that aspect of the show this season, with Sylar peeking through. Good call on that poor Haitian with no name. Maybe Baldy? I’m reaching here.

Samuel’s ink manipulation is actually a rather clever use of his earth manipulating abilities. He just manipulates the minerals in the ink, which is likely overloaded with minerals.

As ridiculous as the show has gotten, I’ve got to give em props for thinking his powers out like that. It kind of reminds me of Avatar’s blood bending extension of water bending (or the kelp bending the swamp guys used).
