He also can’t make good movies either. Seriously, what is your absolute FAVORITE Matthew McConaughey role? Do you have one? Is it even possible?

Ah yes, there we go, Angels in the Outfield.

I think the answer to your question is invariably going to be “Dazed and Confused.” apart from that I can’t imagine what someone might say.

Eh, his role as Stiller’s agent in Tropic Thunder wasn’t too bad. and other than his breakout role in Dazed and Confused, that’s it.

Alright…I liked him in D&C, like everyone else. He’s fine in Tropic Thunder. And, uh, I like him in Contact. There, I said it.

Reign of Fire……Kidding. But I did like him in A Time to Kill.

Ya man are you serious! Dazed and Confused.

“there’s one thing I like about high school girls…”

one of the best characters ever.

I rather liked him in Tropic Thunder, to be honest. Other than that… I can’t name a single good one.

The first time I ever saw Matthew McConaughey was in Amistad. I was in high school then and thought him oh so hot. Looking back I shake my head. When he started focusing more on romantic comedies, he lost an acting skills he might have had, considering he seems to be playing the same characters repeatedly. I can’t really say, then, that I have a favorite role for him.

His best role is life man!

No but seriously. He was great in the Texas Chainsaw remake. Daze for sure. Surfer Dude was great too!
