‘Get Low’ Poster is Not What You’d Expect

And the award for most mismatched movie title and poster goes to….Get Low, surely the story of Lil’ Jon and the East Side Boyz renacted by Bill Murray, Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek. And the guy from The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift. I know nothing about this movie, except that it’s clearly about a bunch of old, sad people, and was created by a bunch of old, sad people who are too old and sad to have ever listened to rap music before.

Or maybe this is based off a book (I wouldn’t be surprised) and it’s Lil’ Jon who stole the title for his classic prom dance track. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence, and the phrase “Get low” can be used for both directing a female to put her ass closer to the ground and perhaps dodging bullets from a sad, old cowboy.  In any case, I really hope Robert Duvall raps.

Someone should photoshop this, adding in platinum grills and bejeweled goblets.
