A Cool But Bizarre Gallery of Super Mario Bros. Fan Art
Super Mario Bros., for all its notoriety, is a pretty weird game. You’ve got a couple of Italian plumbers that can increase in size from eating mushrooms. They smash blocks marked with question marks that just float in the air, battle flying turtles, and navigate their way through labyrinths of piping. Still, in the context of video games, it ain’t that strange.
When the brothers are depicted in fan art, though, the lunacy associated with this franchise really stands out. Pixelated goombas are one thing; seeing a realistic-looking one is something entirely different. After the jump, enjoy a cool but extremely bizarre gallery of Super Mario Bros. fan art.
