Its not just because the "lucha libre" is hard to tell if its being presented as "shoot" or "work", but because Nacho is one of the most annoying, arrogant, selfish, unlikable characters Jack Black has ever played. Sure, he's "doing it for the kids", but with all his talk of wanting to win and the people "chanting his name", its kinda hard to tell what his goals actually are. But the worst thing is that Ignacio is based off of a real person, Sergio Gutierrez Benitez AKA Fray Tormenta (Friar Storm, which was a MUCH more cleaver name). It kind of makes me sad to know that this movie could have been so much more.
