Look, don’t get me wrong. I’m still plenty excited for Avatar, but my enthusiasm has waned a little bit because A) Expectations reached critical mass and are now gently sloping down as people say the footage is “great, but not life-changing” and B) I don’t have my own trailer to watch because of James Cameron’s stupid secrecy creed and therefore I can’t make my own judgements.

I guess I’ll have to be content with this first official still from the film that isn’t bootlegged from somewhere. It shows Sam Worthington and the blue-skinned fairy that’s presumably his Avatar. Looks cool, sure, but how about more than one image James? Or even a clip perchance? Just kidding, that would be ridiculous.
