Eh, there are several decent vampire movies out there, I think most people are just tired of the whole media obsession with them (thanks Stephenie Meyer). And I definitely agree about 30 Days of Night, it’s the way I always picture vampires behaving. I do miss the days when vampire films were more like “Near Dark” and less like “Twilight”.

no no no no no this is based on one of my favourite series of books (look them up) and in no way are they comedies! i’ve been looking forward to this film for aages and now im so disappointed it hurts. seriously if you get a chance to read them, do.

Let the Right One In is a masterpiece. I urge anyone who hasn’t seen it to do so. That said, 30 Days of Night is also pretty good.

Reilly looks like he’s playing a slightly different character than usual and that should really help. This movie would suck if we saw another Talledega / Step Brothers Reilly performance.

Good catch on Let The Right One In. I just saw this movie for the first time over the weekend and really enjoyed it.

To anyone who hasn’t seen it: 1. See it and 2. Watch the Swedish version with subtitles.
