First CODMWF2 Multiplayer Footage Rains Death from Above
I’ll admit, going into watching this footage I thought, “How awesome could this be? I’ve seen COD multiplayer a million times.” The answer? It can be crazy awesome.
Why? Mainly the new unlockable kill streak option, where you can customize your special help as you go. Without a doubt, the best moment in the video is when the player is transported to the main gun of an AC130, and proceeds to gun players down from there. For those of you reading this instead of watching, it’s like the part in the first game where everything is black and white and you get to blow shit up from a mile away.
So yeah, pretty amazing stuff here, and this game is going just be just absolutely massive.

I just can’t seem to get into the COD games. I’ve never really been able to figure out why. I’m a huge FPS fan, but just never clicked with COD.
It seems to be the trend with people that are entrenched in the Halo camp. I still play Halo on an almost daily basis.
@ IcemanD
I’m with you, and a big part of that is because I think I want my games to be a real escape. Sure, firing a machine gun is an escape, but it’s so much more fun firing it at aliens or robots. Human soldiers and human weapons gets boring fast.
@IcemanD and Madison: I have to disagree. Aliens and robots get boring fast for me. I want a certain degree of realism. Something about aliens and robots just strikes me as.. well.. not very real. Not that the games have to be super life-like or anything like that, no not at all, and I enjoy Gears of War and Halo as much as the next guy, just something about fighting my fellow man that strikes me as right. “The Most Dangerous Game”, basically. Eh, opinions. But hey, that’s what I really liked about Killzone. They’re humans *and* aliens at the same time. TWO FOR ONE!
I love the very end of the video. Head comes over the copy machine. You know there’s a second of “Oh shit.”
Love it.
@ SirEdward
Yeah, just varying opinions. It’s not like I dislike the COD games, it’s just that given the option, I’ll take the unexpected. If that makes sense…
@ Madison: “I’ll take the unexpected”. You hit the nail on the head there. My absolute favorite games are good first person survival horrors. Dead Space, Condemned, F.E.A.R., etc.
