Well, read the article got the movie and it’s not about patriotism but it’s not about war either. Sure it tries but it’s absurd. I think Jeremy Renner this a terrific job as an actor but not enough to hide all flaws this movie has. Don’t know about other but things that just don’t make sense ruin movie for me. I’ll give few examples.

There he is going to disarm the bomb throws smoke grenade in place where it doesn’t have effect what so ever. Walks 100-200 m disarms the bomb and for some reason insurgents don’t active the bomb when they watch it being defused. And when they do (once at the start of the movie) they go out on plain sight and do it so everybody can see. Ok movin’ on.

Sniper fight in dessert, insurgent sniper takes out US sniper with single shot. After that comes our Sargent Sanborn on same place, exactly same, and takes out the enemy one by one without being shot at.

Bomb in the kid wtf no trigger, no sense… well I could name few other examples but I don’t want to be too hard on the “movie” . Anyway, when I read the review I wondered how can movie about disarming bombs be interesting. And it’s not it feels forced and artificial. By the way every day they find 2-3 bombs for one team. Come on… like I said forced.

Well downloaded 1.36 GB and lost 2 hours of my life so had to blow out some steam. There goes another 15 mins but feel better now .

Korinthianon: No, it isn’t. There’s hardly a single moment in there that is about patriotism.

And I do have to say… this was one of the best war movies I have ever seen. It was fantastic.
