‘Shutter Island’ Poster is a Light in the Darkness

And what I mean is that quite literally, the film is a light in an otherwise depressing upcoming slate of movies. I’m looking forward to this movie, Avatar, and that’s really about it for the year. Possibly The Box just to see how ****ing crazy Richard Kelly has gotten.

In any case, it’s a rare occurrence a talented cast and director actually tackle a horror film, so I have high expectations for the movie. But really, it’s 2009 Leo, get a flashlight.

I think you nailed it….Avatar, Shutter Island, and The Box….nothing else that has gotten me really interested besides District 9.

@ Paul & Madison: Agreed, I’m also looking forward to Funny People and Inglorious Bastards. The only one you guys listed I’m a little unsure about is The Box.

Oh yeah, Funny People and Inglorious Basterds [sic] for sure. I overlooked those.

As for The Box, I think that I mainly want to see it because I know it will be different and ambitious. Maybe not good, but Kelly always tries.

I like the way you say literally and then use a metaphor. ^^

Only a Jedi master of the English language like myself could pull that trick off.
