Daniel Radcliffe Almost Kills Japanese Fangirl

Published by Paul Tassi at 1:00 pm under Movies, Oddly Enough

Alright, it’s not exactly his fault, the poor girl almost has a heart attack on camera when he pops his face in. Little Kana Matsuda won a contest where she was chosen out of 10,000 kids to go to the film’s set and meet and interview the stars, so it’s not like his appearence should have been THAT much of a shock. But I guess she’s just blown away by his charm as he utters those immortal words she’ll never forget as she wears the sorting hat, “It’s Griffyndor I think.”

I believe she gets to keep the hat and robe, though there’s only like two people in Harry Potter land who actually wear pointy witch hats. Then she conducts an interview with him and and Radcliffe is his usual obliging self, though it’s clear he’s a bit uncomfortable with being treated like a living god. But as always, he’s a good sport about it.
