Badass Picture of the Week: When Harry Met Ron
Alright, maybe “badass” is a bit of a stretch here, but I would put this in the same category of the Star Wars picture I posted last week.
This is allegedly the very first day little Danny Radcliffe met little Rupert Grint before filming Harry Potter. I’ve no idea why they appear to be on a mangy looking soccer field, but whatever.
Can you think of any other film series where we’ve watched children literally grow up before our eyes to this extent? What’s even stranger is that all of the actors, Radcliffe, Grint and Watson all seem like pretty normal down to earth people these days, which seems odd for a group who rocketed to fame at age 11.

That’s a great find. I can’t think of any movies where virtually the entire cast ages before our eyes. I mean, when you have as many sequels as these movies do, actors and actresses are usually replaced. I’m definitely drawing a blank here.
Yeah, it’s cool that they are “down to earth”.
Maybe it hat to do with the fact that they are kids who like reading thick books and stuff, and not some singers or sportspeople.
Oh man, they look so little! I would have to say that the 3rd movie was when I was like HOLY HELL they are growing up. Rupert Grint shot up like hell, and in this recent movie, Draco looked like a giant.
